Hook
Hook has been very ill the past year or so, I know most of our closest friends are aware. The lung that collapsed a year ago has been giving him a lot of pain.
He visited his primary physician yesterday. With x-rays, on the other lung, they found a growth. A year ago this was just a small spot, now, well....... they aren't sure what it is.
He is scheduled for a CT scan on Friday. With his family history and symptoms, I'm hoping for the best, but preparing for the worst.
He can't talk about this yet, and neither one of us wants to face it.
So we wait....
I love him. I need him. I can't face the future without him.

This is the first time I have been to your blog - but following Colo's "click" I came and I am so glad I did. Your posting went straight to my heart and I just got off my knees from praying. I will continue to pray for "Hook" and I will spead the words to all my prayer partners for a wonderful outcome tomorrow from the doctors. I know that God is holding Hook within the palms of His hand and caring for him. We will all pray for a complete recovery and wisdom for the doctors to proceed successfully in that direction. God bless you both and give you strength and comfort to endure this time.
